Supplier risk management

The supplier risk management allows you create supplier profiles for the management of basic data and users. Furthermore, with the SRM you can send reviews to suppliers as self assessments and thus include them in your audit processes.

The following menu items are enabled with this add-on:

• Suppliers

Suppliers can be created and their basic data recorded here. Next to code and name this also includes details regarding the address and general contact. One or more users can be created for the suppliers, who are then provided a special login for HITGuard.

You receive the following new options in the gap analysis with this add-on:

• Send gap analysis to supplier

If a review is marked as a supplier evaluation (this is done using the checkbox above the field for interview partners), only suppliers can be selected as interview partners. In addition, the review is automatically created as a self assessment.

You can allow suppliers to login to their own supplier portal with this add-on:

• HITGuard portal for suppliers

You can share this help page with supplier users and it is also linked in the welcome e-mail.

How is the supplier risk management activated?

After licensing the SRM, we enable it for you. Then you must take the following steps in order to be able to use the SRM:

1. Assign the role expert, professional, or observer for "SRM" under Administration > User roles.
2. Record a company name under Administration > Global settings.
3. Create suppliers and their users under Administration > Suppliers.
4. Activate the checkbox "Supplier evaluation" under Risk management > Settings.
