Icons and buttons

Aus HITGuard User Guide
Version vom 29. Oktober 2024, 08:11 Uhr von Isan (Diskussion | Beiträge) (Die Seite wurde neu angelegt: „====Audit management==== {| class=wikitable |- |right |With this button you can switch to the audit planner (for audits or audit programs) from different interfaces. |- |}“)

In the overview tables, assistants, and special functions of HITGuard you find different icons offering information on the data on screen, and buttons to trigger various actions. Some of these icons and buttons are context-specific; many are used again and again across the tool.

Note: The colors of some buttons can be modified under Administration → Global Settings and may therefore look different in a productive system from what you see on this page. Furthermore, not all buttons are visible/active for all users, this can depend on your authorization.

Standard icons and buttons

Basics
Save files, options, information.
Closing pages or popups.
There is one of these two buttons for downloading reports, depending on the type of report.

If a button is available but greyed out, no data has been selected as basis for the report (e.g., a checkmark for a risk or a measure, or a selection of a standard or an organizational unit in a dropdown).

You can find more about reports on their respective pages for each module.
Collapse or expand the main menu on the left.
Change language: German or English.
Logout from HITGuard.
Tables
Deletes a filter set in a table. The choice of columns is not reset with this button.
Downloads the entire table as an Excel file.
Downloads either the selected rows or the entire table as an Excel file.
The contents of the aforementioned dropdown.
Opens a list of all columns available for showing or hiding.
Allows for the search for specific elements within a table.

Module-spezific icons and buttons

General

My tasks
A badge in the main menu shows how many tasks in total are awaiting your intervention.
Within "My tasks", a badge shows how many tasks in a specific module are awaiting your intervention.
Within the specific module, an orange badge next to the folder shows how many tasks of which status are awaiting your intervention.

Practitioners can submit new elements within the respective menus under My tasks with these buttons (assuming the modules are available):
- progress reports for measures one is responsible for
- risks for which one is then pre-set as advisor
- case management tickets

These elements are then handed to the respective management team for intervention.

Whether "Submit progress" ("Fortschritt melden") is available in My tasks → Measures → My progress reports depends on whether the proactive submitting of progress reports has been activated in the Global Settings.

New processing activities can also be submitted by Practitioners, however, there is no "submit" button for this but a "Plus" button next to the overview table.
Via a badge by this envelope symbol, Experts and Professionals of a management system see how many tasks have been returned or elements have been submitted (e.g., new risks, progress reports, answered self assessments).
Dashboards and KPIs
If the data selection in viewing mode is not activated for a KPI, it can be opened in a new window with this button. It is then possible to configure the KPI (choice of contents and filters) and then temporarily or permanently save these settings.
A dashboard can be marked as favorite with this star (a click sets or removes the color and thus the selection). The dashboard is then the first one displayed to the user upon login.
Experts and Professionals can open the editing mode of a dashboard with this button. There, new KPIs or reports can be added. If the editing mode is active, KPI names can also be changed, their size modified, their position changed, or KPIs can be deleted from the dashboard. Save saves these changes; Close discards them.
A new dashboard can be created in the editing mode with this button.
With this button, the private-marker, sorting arrangement, code, name, and description of a dashgboard can be edited with this button.
Vendor-specific dashboards can be reset to their original configuration with this button in the editing mode. The button is inactive for your own dashboards.
Your own dashboards can be deleted with this button in the editing mode. The button is inactive for vendor-specific dashboards.
Vendor-specific dashboards are marked with this icon. They can be edited and reset, but not deleted.
If the filter module for a KPI is open, this button saves any changes made for the current view. They are not permanently saved, though.
If the filter module for a KPI is open, this button permanently saves any changes made. This means, the changes remain saved even if the dashboard is reloaded.
Repeating buttons
Adding/creating elements.
Deleting elements (with the exception of measures and controls as well as elements of the risk policy).
Linking of elements.
Deleting/removing the linking of elements.

Find more on the structural analysis here.
With this button found under Risk management → Threats, multiple threats can be created simultaneously from knowledge base templates.
Risks are marked in their overview with an exclamation point on a triangular sign. The color depends on the risk ratio and the configuration of the risk matrix.
Opportunities are marked in their overview with a pair of dice. The color depends on the risk ratio and the configuration of the risk matrix.
Impacts are marked in their overview with a plus or a minus, depending on whether it is a positive or a negative impact.

Experts can activate or deactivate the option "Actively report progress" under Administration → Global Settings.
This button takes Experts and Professionals to the page where they can request progress reports from the responsible persons.
Experts can re-request already requested progress reports with this button and thus remind the responsible person of the pending task.
With this button Experts can recall progress reports they have requested.
With this button the responsible persons can save a progress report they have filled out but do not yet want to return.
This allows the responsible person of a measure to delegate the answering of a progress report to somebody else.
A delegated, answered progress report can be returned to the responsible person with this button.
A completed progress report can be returned by the responsible person to the requesting Expert with this button.
An Expert can edit a returned progress report themselves in a special editing mode for authorized persons.

In the Report archive reports can be sent as e-mail attachments with this button. For security reasons, the report is not sent directly from HITGuard, but instead the button downloads an e-mail template that can then be sent manually.
