Ein Unternehmen besteht aus Organisationseinheiten, die mit den anderen Arten von Stammdaten in Verbindung stehen: Die [[Special:MyLanguage/Prozesse|Prozesse]] finden in einer oder mehreren Organisationseinheiten statt. Das Erstellen und Verarbeiten von [[Special:MyLanguage/Datenkategorien|Datenkategorien]] erfolgt in diesen Organisationseinheiten überwiegend IT-gestützt und unter Verwendung von [[Special:MyLanguage/Ressourcen|IT-Ressourcen]]. Je kritischer die Organisationseinheit, desto größer der potentielle Schaden und desto höher die Anforderung an die [[Special:MyLanguage/Risikopolitik#Schutzziele|Schutzziele]] Verfügbarkeit, Vertraulichkeit und Integrität. </p>
Eine Organisationseinheit ist in allen HITGuard Kernelementen ein Pflichtfeld. Jede [[Special:MyLanguage/Schutzbedarf|Schutzbedarfs]]- und [[Special:MyLanguage/Schwachstellen|Schwachstellenanalyse]], sowie alle [[Special:MyLanguage/Aktuelle_Maßnahmen|Maßnahmen]] und [[Special:MyLanguage/Kontrolldefinitionen|Kontrollen]] müssen sich stets auf eine Organisationseinheit beziehen, die dafür verantwortlich ist.

Creation and processing of data categories takes place in these organizational units during the individual process steps. It is predominantly IT-supported and done with the use of IT systems. The more vital the organizational unit, the greater the potential damage, and the greater the requirements for availability, confidentiality and integrity of the data or systems.

An organizational unit is a mandatory field in all HITGuard core elements. Every protection needs- and vulnerability/gap analysis, as well as all measures and controls must always refer to an organizational unit that is responsible for them.
