Threats

Aus HITGuard User Guide
Diese Seite ist eine übersetzte Version der Seite Bedrohungen und die Übersetzung ist zu 100 % abgeschlossen sowie aktuell.

Threats are dangers or problems for the organization, which can be kept general or be formulated in more detail. They can be assigned to a gap in the course of gap analyses or when recording review results. The assignment to the gap then creates a relationship between the threat and a risk/opportunity. As with gaps, the relationship between threats and risks/opportunities can also be created manually.

Find more on the linking of threats with review questions here.

Overview of the threats

Under "Risk management → Threats" you find an overview of all threats that have been created for the current management system. Their protection targets and weightings are also shown in this list. A double click opens a threat for editing.

Creating threats

Individual creation of threats

New threats can be created with the "plus" button. It opens an interface where code, name, descriptions, and the protection targets and weightings can be defined.

Bulk creation of threats

Use the "bulk creation" button to create one, a few, or up to all of the threats from a knowledge base in the management system. For this, first select a knowledge base and then select and create all of the desired threats. Code and name, as well as the protection targets and their weightings are taken on from the knowledge base, but can be modified.

Note:Only knowledge bases that contain threats are offered for selection.

Interface for creating threats from a knowledge base

If a threat from the knowledge base has already been created, you can either skip it or create a duplicate. Duplicates are created with a number in the code (e.g., G 0.1 (1) Feuer).
