Controls

Aus HITGuard User Guide
Version vom 3. Februar 2025, 10:34 Uhr von FuzzyBot (Diskussion | Beiträge) (Übernehme Bearbeitung einer neuen Version der Quellseite)

As shown in the image, under "My tasks → Controls → Controls | Upcoming controls" you find all controls for which you are the implementer or examiner.

My controls

In the left area, you can filter the controls by status. Under each item you can see:

All: All controls for which you are either implementer or examiner. The status of the control is of no significance here.

Pending: The controls that are currently occurring and are to be performed by you.

Needs approval: The controls that you have performed as the implementer, but have not yet been approved. Controls for which you are the implementer and whose examination is pending are marked in blue. If you are the examiner, they are marked in orange.

Suspended: The controls where you are the implementer or examiner, but which have been suspended for a period of time (currently not to be performed).

Irrelevant: Controls that have been set to the state Irrelevant manually.

Finished: The controls you have performed and that have been accepted by the examiner(s).

Failed: The controls that either failed because they were not carried out in time, because the examiner did not check them in time, or because they were rejected by the examiner.

Important: The markers with the orange tag "to be performed by me" have been removed. But the filters for them are still there.

Under "My Tasks → Controls → Controls | Upcoming Controls" there is an overview of the upcoming controls. This means all controls for which you are the implementer or examiner. The controls are sorted in descending order by the date of the next control.

Upcoming controls

Perform and examine controls

If you click on a control in these views, you will be redirected to its execution.

This enables you as the implementer to carry out outstanding controls and as the exampiner to approve the controls that are ready. All other statuses of the controls are write-protected and can be viewed but not edited.

Pending

As a implementer, you must carry out pending controls. By clicking on a pending control you will be redirected to the execution of that control.

Once you have filled out the form as shown below, you can release the control for examination or complete it if no examiner has been set.

Perform control

Deadline: Is only set if a deadline is set in the control definition.

Performed: Set automatically, as soon as you release the control for review or complete it.

Execution description: Describe what you did during the performance of the control.

Remark: If you have any remarks for the examiner, you should list them here.

Evidence: Documents confirming the performance of the control can be uploaded here.

Needs approval

As an examiner, you must review controls that have been released for approval by the implementers. To review, double-click on a control that is released for approval and you will be redirected to the review interface.

In this view, the header data of the control as well as the performance incl. evidence of the implementer are displayed.

Note: Evidences can only be deleted in the status Pending. Once the control has been accepted, the evidence cannot be changed.

Review control

Once you have filled out the form completely, you will be able to either:

  • accept it, this will close the control.
  • reject it, the control will then fail.
  • request a revision by the implementer (status is set back to "Pending" and the implementer is informed).

Executed: Set automatically as soon as you accept or reject the control, or request a revision.

Reason: Justify why you accepted or rejected the control or why you requested a revision.
