Translating knowledge bases

Self developed knowledge bases can be translated into various languages. Knowledge bases of the types "Vendor" or "Standard/norm" can not be translated. However, user adaptations can be translated.
In reports and gap analyses the knowledge base is shown in the current language, if available. This means the language that is displayed at the top right, next to the "logout" button.
To translate an element of a KB, click the desired KB and switch to the tab "Translations".

On this page, all components of the KB are displayed. In the column "Text", the text is displayed in its source language. In the column "Translation", a translation for each component can be recorded. The target language can be set at the top right.

To translate, simply click into the column "Translation" next to the component to be translated. If the field supports html-elements, a html-editor is provided.
