Externe im Kontext des Datenschutzes sind betriebsfremde juristische oder natürliche Personen, also Unternehmen oder Einzelpersonen, die personenbezogene Daten von Ihrem Unternehmen erhalten bzw. an Ihr Unternehmen übermitteln. Die Verwaltung der Externen ist für die Einhaltung der DSGVO grundlegend. Als Unternehmen müssen Sie Auskunft darüber geben können, von welchen Externen Sie personenbezogene Daten erhalten haben oder an welche Externen Sie solche übermitteln. In der Verarbeitungstätigkeit geben Sie an, welche Daten welcher Externe von Ihnen erhält bzw. welche Daten Sie von welchen Externen erhalten, wodurch der Auskunftspflicht nachgekommen werden kann.
