Analysezeiträume dienen dazu, im Risikomanagement sowie in der Maßnahmen- und Kontrollverwaltung bzw. beim Datenschutz einzelnen Perioden Resultate zuzuordnen und diese auswertbar und vergleichbar zu machen. Dies ermöglicht es, den Fortschritt von Maßnahmen über mehrere Zeiträume zu verfolgen und zu analysieren.
