Es gibt in der Strukturanalyse mehrere Sichten, um den Benutzer nicht mit einem überdimensionalen und unübersichtlichen Graphen zu konfrontieren. Diese fünf Betrachtungsbereiche sind vorhanden:
*Die Organisationssicht stellt die Aufbauorganisation des Unternehmens/Konzerns/Verbandes in den Fokus.
*Die Ressourcensicht stellt die Techniklandschaft dar und bildet IT-Systeme, Spezialsysteme, Gebäudesicherheit etc. ab.
*Die Datensicht lässt erkennen welche Daten in welchen Organisationseinheiten oder Prozessen, verarbeitet werden.
*Die Prozesssicht gibt einen Überblick über die Geschäftsprozesse.
*Die Lieferantensicht lässt sie die Lieferanten modellieren, von denen ihre Organisation, vor allem ihre IT-Systeme abhängig sind.
