Eine Schutzbedarfsanalyse kann neubewertet werden, solange es keine aktuellere/jüngere SBA gibt, die zumindest eine gleiche Ressource oder Datenkategorie für dieselbe OrgEh/Prozess bewertet. Außerdem muss die Schutzbedarfsanalyse für eine Neubewertung erst abgeschlossen sein.
