Im Von-Feld kann auch ein Freitext statt dem Namen eines Users eingegeben werden. Dies ist nützlich, wenn der Melder keinen Zugang zu HITGuard hat, oder um bspw. anonyme Meldungen aus einem physischen Postkasten oder CERT-Meldungen im Tool aufzunehmen.
